Hebrews 10:9-10  sanctify- (to set apart as holy). Speaking of the Jewish sacrifices for sin, the author in these verses is talking about 'the first' type of sin sacrifice which was the day of atonement, and the 'second' type of sacrifice which was the finished work of Christ on the cross. The 'first' was unable to take sin away permanently, the 'second' was able to wash all sin away forever.

Hebrews 2:11 When a person is born again spiritually, they become one with Christ and a permanent member of  His family.

I Corinthians 6:15a; Ephesians 5:30 Many scripture references tell us that we have become one with Jesus Christ like He prayed in John 17:20-21.

John 10:14-16 When we are saved, we become part of the 'other sheep fold' of Christ. Some day He will gather the Jewish fold and the Gentile fold into “one fold” for the “One shepherd”.

Hebrews 10:12 Jesus is the one sacrifice given to God for sins one time FOREVER.

Hebrews 9:11-12, 24-26 The one time sacrifice never has to be done again because God accepted it as perfect. Also, we have God's word that the sacrifice has obtained eternal redemption for those that put their trust in Him. The word eternal means ( without beginning or end, everlasting, forever).

Titus 3:5 Many types of people and many other denominational churches have differing doctrines of how to get to heaven, however, the bible has made it very clear that we can do nothing to earn heaven.

Galatians 2:16 The Law teaches us about works of the flesh. The word justification means ( to be declared guiltless, free from blame). The only way to receive justification is by trusting (faith) in Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-9 The bible tells us that being saved is a free gift (grace) of God received by faith in Christ (trusting Him).

Romans 7:21-25 Some people say we lose our saved position when we sin, but these verses tell us plainly that being saved has nothing to do with our sin because to sin is natural to every person.

Hebrews 10:14-17 Here we see that those that have been set apart, (sanctified), have been “perfected forever” because of the one offering that Christ has made for us. Also, we see that because our sins have been paid for and remembered no more, there never has to be another offering because we have no sin that need to be sacrificed for. Because we have no sin and we carry His righteousness we are secure and bound for heaven.

Romans 8:38-39 It is clearly promised to us that are saved there isn't anything or anybody in this world or the spirit world that can separate us from God because we are secure in Christ Jesus.

I Corinthians 15:57 The spiritual victory that we have is the security we have in God's salvation. This verse is God saying to us “I'm (giving) forfeiting this victory of eternal security to you because of the finished and complete work of redemption by my Son Jesus Christ”.
