Seek- ( to attempt to locate, to acquire, to gain, to look for)

Psalm 14:2-3; Romans 3:9-11 Although many think that before they were saved they were on a great spiritual journey seeking after God, the Lord makes it clear that we lie to ourselves.

Matthew 9:9-13 Because of the great commission that Jesus gave us in Matthew 28:19-20, we must understand that it is vital that we interact with sinners in all areas of society.

Luke 19:1-10 Jesus gives us a great example of how we must reach out to those who are not saved. We will not always be understood for how we reach out but like Jesus, we are not looking to join in on their sin but are teaching repentance and salvation by trusting the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

II Corinthians 6:14-17 Jesus taught in the Gospels that it is necessary to associate with the lost even while we may not like their character at the time. We are not joining them, we are trying to win them.

Keep- ( To hold, maintain, or retain in one's possession)

II Timothy 1:12 Paul gives us an admonition pertaining to the keeping power of God for our soul.

Psalm 25:20 David reminds us we can have great confidence in our God for the keeping of our soul.

Jude 24 Jude tells us that God not only will keep us from falling from grace, but will keep us faultless for the day of our presentation before our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:10 Jesus Himself promises to keep us from the tribulation period because we trust Him.

John 17:11 Jesus prayed to the Father that He would keep us by His name in order to be in unity.

John 17:13 Jesus prayed to the Father that we would be kept in spiritual joy while left on the earth.

John 17:15 How much more would we be in trouble if Jesus had not prayed to the Father that we would be kept from evil.

Preserve- ( to maintain, to keep, to make lasting)

Psalm 121:5-8 The power of the Lord will keep us and preserve us from evil forever and ever.

Romans 16:25 God is able and willing to stablish ( to make firm, to settle permanently) believers so we will not depart from evangelical truth.

I Thessalonians 5:23-24 We were told in Colossians that we are complete in Christ. Paul tells this church that we will be preserved blameless until Christ returns for us.

Jude 1 Here the writer addresses the Christians as those who are preserved, sanctified, and called.

John 10:27-29 There are no stronger passages in all of scripture that prove the eternal security and preservation of the believer. The sheep in these verses belong to Jesus Christ. Jesus gives them eternal life and they shall NEVER perish. The sheep are in Jesus hands and in the hands of His Father. Jesus tells us that no man is able to pluck the sheep out of the Fathers hand.
