On this "Bus Ministry Flyers Page", we want to provide a few samples of the weekly or monthly Bus Flyers that our Bus Workers give out when they visit their Bus Riders each Saturday. We provide them for our Bus Workers each Saturday morning at our Bus Meetings in an effort to help motivate the children and adults not only to ride the Bus on Sunday morning to Sunday School and Church, but also in helping them to grow Spiritually for the Lord Jesus Christ by memorizing Scripture verses and inviting others to come to Church with them. We regularly set Goals for each of our Bus Routes and then reward them when they reach that Goal. Rewards may consist of having Ice Cream on the Bus if they reach a certain goal, or even perhaps a Pizza party or Hot Dogs or a Picnic after Church if they reach the Goal set for their Bus Route. Sometimes we even have something Special for the riders just to say "Thank-You" for coming to Church and to encourage them even if they have not yet reached their goal.

To some, this is referred to as "Bribery" and is looked down upon. But we look upon using any tool that is not immoral, not unscriptural, or not illegal as a means to encourage and reward those who are trying to live righteously for God! Even Jesus rewarded and fed those who had been with Him for several days listening to Him preach in the desert in Mark 6:30-44. And one day God Himself shall reward each of His children according to their service and faithfulness to Him (II Corinthians 5:10, II Timothy 4:8).

"Bribery" is defined as "...the giving of money to a person so as to coerce that person to do wrong..."

No . . . what we do each week is NOT Bribery...we seek not to "Bribe" people to come to Sunday School or to Church, but we do "Reward" them for being faithful to get up early and ride an old Bus to hear the blessed Gospel story of Jesus Christ!

The goal here is to teach the boys and girls and adults to be FAITHFUL in living for the Lord Jesus Christ! At the end of the month, all those who were faithful to come AT LEAST THREE (3) SUNDAYS in January will be given a beautiful 8-1/2" x 11"Award Certificate that will have their name written on it to hang on their wall at home!

Please Note...those who did not come for at least three (3) Sundays in the month will receive another special Certificate for coming to Church on that last Sunday in the month that is different in color and in size
(4-1/4" x 5-1/2") from those given for being faithful to come for at least three (3) Sundays in the month of January. (See Below)

*NOTE: Feel free to print any flyers you see, but you should add the Name of your Church, along with the correct Address, Phone Number, and other important information on any and all of your ministry's forms! We always list the Captain's name and Home Telephone Number on the flyers too so as to save them time writing this information when they are out visiting. The only thing they have to actually write on their flyers is the time they come to each particular house and any other notes for the riders they talk to or sign up to come on Sunday!
