One Girl and One Boy from Each Bus Route Were Awarded for their Faithfulness to Come to Church, to Memorize Scripture, to Bring their Bible with them to Church and for bringing others to Church with them during "Taking Jesus Back To School" month (August 2002)

The Winner for the Girls got all of the above Awards in a Beautiful Red Bag!
A Beautiful Certificate, a Jewelry Box, a Loving Cup Trophy,
a Precious Promise New Testament, a Gold Cross Necklace, a Ball Point Pen,
a Puppy/Kitty Cat Memo Pad, two Magnets and two "Jesus Loves Me" Erasers....W-O-W!!

In September 2002, we began a special month called "Laboring For Jesus!"

Every child that came into our Junior Church was given a paper each week where they were able to score points for various "labor efforts" for Jesus. They were encouraged to  read and memorize Bible Scriptures, bring the Bible to Church, be at Sunday School on time, be in Junior Church on time, be present for the other services during the week at Berean Baptist church, and to invite people to come to Church as their visitors each week.

Those boys and girls who scored the Most Points during the month of September 2002 would earn a beautiful "Laborer For Jesus" Award Certificate and Trophy as seen below!!

September 29, 2002 was a Big Day!! We had a great number of young people who came and many young people accepted Jesus Christ as their own personal Saviour!
