My Name is Wayne Jones. I am the Bus Captain on the
Waughtown Street area Bus Route in Winston-Salem, NC at the Berean Baptist Church.
I'd like to give you my Testimony for Christ and then let you see some
pictures of my Bus Route...
It was back in the
early 1970's when two men came by my house and invited me to ride the
Church bus with them to Sunday School. After a year or two of riding the
bus bus and attending their Church, they invited me to a youth camp in
June of 1975. On Thursday night, Brother R.W. Cook, our Youth Director,
gave the Gospel Message of how Jesus died for my sins on the cross,
was buried and arose for me on the third day. All I had to do was to
believe the Gospel story and ask Jesus to come into my heart as my
Saviour. That night, I received Jesus Christ into my heart personally as
my own Saviour. The Bus Ministry has a special place in my heart! And
that's the reason that each week I am on the Bus Route telling boys and
girls about Jesus Christ and inviting them to Church. A special "Thanks"
Brother Bobby Martin and to Brother Ed Kemper for coming by my house
and inviting me to ride their Bus to Church and hear the Gospel!
