My Name is Robert Harrison. I am the Bus Captain on the Old Salem area
Bus Route in Winston-Salem, NC at the Berean Baptist Church. I'd like to
give you my Testimony for Christ and then let you see some pictures of
my Bus Route...I received the Lord Jesus as my
Savior when I was a young boy just 12 years of age. After
high-school and a time in the Navy, I begin to attend Piedmont Bible
(Baptist) College. I was 22 years of age when I answered God's call
to the ministry. I recently graduated in May 2001 from Calvary
Baptist Bible College with a THB degree. My wife and I became
members of the Berean Baptist Church in 1994 after two soul winners of the
church visited our home and invited us to the church. Our only
transportation to church at the time was via the bus ministry. After
having ridden the bus for 6 months or so I became an active bus trainee
under the guidance of the Bus Captain, Bro. Ray Shutt. My family and
I worked with Ray and his family on bus route number 4 for about five years.
Because of God's blessings, the route grew and has had to be divided
several times. At one point in the dividing of the route, Brother
Ray and Pastor Baity felt led of Lord to offer me the opportunity to
become captain of one of those routes. I was given Bus Route number
4 and Brother Ray took the new route. The Lord has blessed our route in many ways! We have seen many boys,
girls, moms and dads come to know the Lord as a result of the bus
ministry. Thank God for the Bus Ministry!
