My Name is David Brown. I am the Bus Captain on the
Gumtree Road/Wallburg area Bus Route in Winston-Salem, NC at the Berean Baptist Church.
I'd like to give you my Testimony for Christ and then let you see some
pictures of my Bus Route...I want to thank God for saving me
as an adult. I was 38 years old when I accepted Christ as my Saviour on
Sunday, August 22, 1993. It all started on Sunday morning when my wife
Helen and I came to Berean Baptist Church and heard Pastor Baity preach
the Word of God. As he preached the Spirit of God spoke not only to my
heart, but also to my wife's heart. When the Preacher gave the invitation
at the end of the service, we both came forward and got saved! Later, the
Lord began to burden my heart about the Bus Ministry. The Preacher was
preaching on how God could use anybody if they would just allow Him to use
them. So about two months after I got saved, I got started working in the
Bus Ministry. Now I am a Bus Captain and by the grace of God, I am still
working for the Lord in the Bus Ministry today along with my wife. I want
to Thank God for using me in this ministry and because of God's blessings
on someone like me who simply made themselves "available" for God to use.
God has enabled us to work for Him in this area and we
look forward to seeing the Lord bless and to help the route to grow for His
Glory and Honour!
