High Point/Thomasville area Bus Route at the Berean Baptist Church.
They would like to give you their Testimony for Christ and then let you see some
pictures of their Bus Route...
My name is Joel Litaker.
I grew up in a good home, raised by my grandmother
and two aunts. They wanted the best for me so they sent me to a local
Christian school, starting in kindergarten. However, I did not ask Jesus
to come into my heart until the age of 12.
Unfortunately my grandmother wasn't able to keep
me in Christian school and in 10th grade I began attending public
school. This led to me getting out of church. One Saturday, Jimmy and
Faye Holland stopped by my house and invited me to ride their church bus
to Gospel Light Baptist Church. In 1990, I rededicated my life to
Christ. In 1991, I answered the call to full time Christian service. In
1992, I attended Hyles-Anderson College where I started working in the
bus ministry and have continued in this ministry since then.
In 1998, during a Pastor's School convention I
answered the call to preach the Gospel. Since that time I have served in
many ministries of the church, but I hold the bus ministry close to my
heart. If it hadn't been for those dear bus workers from Gospel Light
Baptist Church coming to my house, I don't know where I would be today.
